FR, closed cell, chemically crosslinked polyethylene foam pre-formed tubing

INSUshield tubing is a closed cell, fire retardant (FR), chemically crosslinked polyethylene foam (XLC) pre-formed for thermal insulation meets requirement of ‘Class O’ for fire propagation and ‘Class I’ generally confirms to surface spread of flame as per BS 476 Part 6 & Part 7 respectively.

Features :

  • Choice of continuous, extruded high performance heat-bonded INSUshield tubing

  • Closed cell structure – negligible water / moisture absorption

  • Fire retardant and non-dripping formulation

  • Low and stable ‘K’ value

  • Wide temperature range from -40°C to 115°C

  • Non-fibrous, non-toxic and non-carcinogenic

  • Retains as supplied properties throughout the life span
