Glass and accessories are not add-ons chosen after the frame is decided. They are specification decisions made alongside it, and Griham treats them that way. One half of that range is the glass itself, since a uPVC glass door or window can carry toughened, laminated, frosted, tinted, or double-glazed panes depending on what the opening needs. Glass Options and What Each One Is For  

Griham's glass range covers everything from the enhanced security of toughened and laminated glass to the superior energy efficiency and privacy offered by double-glazed, frosted and tinted varieties. Each type is built for a different situation.

Reflective / Tinted Glass enhances building aesthetics while improving interior comfort by reducing solar heat and glare, suited to sun-facing doors that need daytime privacy along with a modern look.

Toughened (Tempered) Glass is specially heat-treated to deliver superior strength and durability. It is up to 4 to 5 times stronger than regular glass and is designed to shatter into small, blunt fragments, reducing the risk of injury. These aspects together make uPVC doors with toughened glass the standard choice for large windows, doors, and high-rise openings.

Frosted Glass lets daylight in while keeping the space private, which is why uPVC doors with frosted glass are common in bathrooms, private rooms, and office cabins.
Laminated Glass is built from multiple glass layers bonded with a durable interlayer that holds the glass together even when broken. The laminated glass provides excellent sound reducer properties and blocks harmful UV radiation, suited to homes in noisy, high-traffic areas.

Double Glazed Units (DGU) refer to two glass panes separated by an insulating air gap, which significantly improves thermal insulation and sound reduction. Griham's double glazed units are recommended for premium homes that need better climate control and quieter interiors.

Insect Mesh Solutions for Every Opening Type 

Griham's insect mesh systems keep insects out while allowing fresh air and natural light to flow freely into the space. The two mesh patterns work differently depending on how the opening moves. Pull Down Mesh is a spring-loaded retractable insect screen that rolls neatly into a compact housing when not in use. It is suited to casement windows where the screen needs to disappear when not needed. Pleated Mesh on the other hand, folds like an accordion and glides smoothly along tracks, which makes it ideal for wide openings. It is used on sliding doors and panoramic openings.  

Georgian Bars, Architraves and Blinds Between Glass  

These three accessories change how a unit looks and behaves without changing the glass itself. 
Georgian Bars recreate the traditional Georgian pane-divided window style while maintaining the strength and insulation performance of modern window systems.

Blinds between glass take privacy further by sealing the blind mechanism inside the glazing itself. They control light without the use of external frames, suited to  offices and premium interiors that want privacy without curtains or upkeep.
